Shri Yantra

I recently bought a Shri Yantra from Rudraksha Ratna and because it is

in a case/stand, I am not sure how to install it in my puja ghar. I

read in the Shri Yantra book that i should lay it on the ground

outside for few hrs, and soak in saline water overnight, then milk,

then water, etc etc... but because the yantra is a case, I am unsure

which procedure to follow. I finally just sprinkled ganga jal where I

was setting it and then put sandal paste and sindoor on it before I

recited the mantra 108 times. is this enough or should I have done

differently?

 

can anyone clear up this confusion? and should i do this same

procedure every friday? kindly let me know. thanks!
