Refrain:

Datta Datta datta datta datta jai

Datta Datta datta datta datta jai

Victory to Lord Datta! Victory to Lord Datta!

It is hinted that uttering the name of Datta at least five times, praising His

glory will fulfill the wishes of the devotees.

Vinatir astu Datta deva moortaye

Vihita bhakta vaanchitaartha poortaye

Prostrations to the divine form of Lord Datta who ever filfills the wishes of

hearts of those who devoutly worship Him.

thereby restoring to the celestials their powers and vigor.

Prostrations to Lord Datta who bestowed one thousand mighty arms to King

Kartaveeryaarjuna. Salutations to Lord Datta who held Renuka (Ekaveera), the

mother of sage Parashurama in great reverence.

Bahu vidhaavataara nitya vriddhaye

Ruchira paada vallabhatva siddhaye

Prostrations to Lord Datta whose varied manifestations are ever on the increase,

such as that of the glorious Sripada Vallabha.

Atha nrisimha yogi roopa dhaarine

Lord Datta also incarnated as Sri Narasimha Saraswati who became the spiritual

leader of the famous town Ganagapuram.

Lord Datta! By your compassion, you easily shower upon your devotees even the

highest supernatural powers. You grant to your devotees the experience of Sat,

Chit, and Ananda, Eternal Truth, Supreme Consciousness, and Permanent Bliss.
