Guest guest
Pujya Sri Swamiji, from Bhakti Mala, Sep 2008: .. .. .. " Most people have heard of Rishis (seers) and their Tapas (penance). What they do not know is, the real meaning of Tapas. Many people think that sitting in a forest and doing Japa (uttering mantra) with an unshaven beard, closed eyes and controlled breath constitutes Tapas. No, this is not real Tapas. Whatever is done to help others with unselfish attitude, balanced mind and dedicated spirit is real Tapas. Such actions, whether in the spiritual field, business and trade, or agriculture are all different forms of Tapas! " .. .. ..
