Uniqueness of Swami's Teachings

Excerpt from Uniqueness of Swami and His Teachings….. Bhagavan Baba is vast ocean of

wisdom, Love and compassion. This ocean, as once stated by Baba, is co-extensive with the universe. There are countless pebbles on the shore, and the Divine sprays splashes down on them every now and then. Swami's superb teachings given through His discourses, writings, conversations as well as His Living example, are unparalleled, both in respect of their contents and their efficacy in transforming countless lives for the better. He is indeed Omni-present, Omni-potent, Omni-felicitous Lord of the Universe, come down in human form for redemption of humanity. A few years ago, speaking to an assembly of young students assembled in “Sai-Sruthi, the abode of Bhagavan Baba in KodaiKanal Swami said= “You should know that Swami is Sriman Narayana come down to earth in human form. He is Purna Avatar. As the case of Sri Rama and Sri Krishna. The other great spiritual Masters, who walked on the earth from time to time, were manifestations of the Divine Power—not Divinity in its entirely. Swami went on to say:- “Even as the body attained the age of five, My grand-father knew who I was; and also My mother, My elder sister and My foster mother.” On another occasion, Swami spoke these enchanting words; “The Rishis, in ancient times, had to work hard over unconscious ably long period and then satisfied with a brief Glimpse of the Lord (Dharshans). In the Thretha Yuga, the vanara Sena enjoyed the privilege of conversation with Lord Rama (Sambhahashan). In the Dwapara Yuga, the Gopikas received Grace by a touch of Lord Krishna (Sparshans).

Currently, Sri Sathya Sai grants to all His devotees, at all times, all the three forms of bliss—Vision, dialogs and touch. Krishna told Arjuna divinity will appear on Earth, from time to time, to protect the virtuous and punish the wicked…In this Avatar, Sai will take good care of virtuous but will not punish the wicked. The later will be transformed and helped to become good human beings worthy of the Grace of the Lord. “Sai is not conditioned by time, place, or circumstance. What I will, must take place; and what I plan must succeed. I am truth; and truth has no need to hesitate, fear or bend”. Prof. V.K.Gokak said, the first Vice-Chancellor of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, stated that the university was fortunate to have its Chancellor one, who was the Chancellor of the Universe,. Look and see what Baba said; “Not an atom moves, not a blade of grass and not a flower blooms except by the Grace and will of the Divine Master”. “I am the self (Atma) seated in the hearts of all creatures, I am the beginning, the middle and the end of all beings. Bhagavan has declared that He performs miracles to demonstrate that divine power is awesome and is far above human capability. For instance, on one occasion, while describing the splendor of Sita’s wedding, Bhagavan brought forth from His palm a brilliant piece of jewelry…Sita’s Mangala Sutra, made by King Janaka. While speaking on Hanuman’s mission to Lanka in search of Sita, as Sri Rama,’s messenger, Bhagavan produced for all to see the dazzling ring from his finger that Rama sent through Hanuman to convince Sita that he was

the one sent by her Lord to search for her. Swami, on another occasion, brought to this world an ornament of exquisite beauty gifted by Krishna to His sister Subhadra on the occasion of her marrying Arjuna. Swami while speaking of Siddhartha, who was destined to become Gautma Buddha, produced his wedding ring. Ever so often, a person sitting in a weel-chair forty years with an affected spinal column gets up and walks as Swami touches him and bless him. Dear Brothers and Sisters we need to broaden the pitchers of our heart and carry the waters of love that we have collected from the Oasis of love and distribute these waters to the parched hearts of love-thirsty millions...Only then would our lives gain meaning, only then would our Lord be happy.
