Guest guest
Jai Guru Datta! I was pained to hear about the callous attitude of that Katmandu Temple Authorities. I was thinking of a devotee in South India, and what happened centuries ago. But then, I read what happened at Sri Rangam, and I was happy at the way, our Lord gave that reclined pose many miles away. I hope my brother would write to the authorities at Sri Rangam and tell them about this (if not already). They would be equally satisfied. I remember with a smile, the few emails I had from a few. This 'Caste' thingy is a 'Touchy' subject. As Datta devotees, we should all silently spread the idea that, all religions (if practiced rightly) are ways to ONE Formless and All Pervading Universal God. There should not be any fight between religions and especially WITHIN a religion. I can feel the pain of my brother at Katmandu, but all I can say is, " Why should you worry? The Supreme Lord is firmly seated in the lotus of your heart! " Maybe it is all His leela, as he is fond of playing like this with his very very very devoted servants. If we were the most powerful persons in a country, we would play with only our most trusted servants, right? By the way, the devotee I was talking about was called, " Nandanaar of Chidhambaram " . The Temple authorities refused him entrance, but Lord Shiva moved away everything in the path between, including a heavy stone Nandi statue, and gave him dharshan! Ohm Aiym Hreem Shthreem Shivaraama Anagha Dattaaya Namaha!
