Muni jana vinutam nata jana sadayam Pravimala hridayam bhaja Dattam  Praise Datta who has been glorified by the sages. Sing the glory of Datta who is compassionate towards His devotees, and whose heart is ever pure. Prashamita vipadam prakatita vibhavam Pranudita duritam bhaja Dattam  Praise Datta who diminishes dangers, who demonstrates His Omnipresence, and who destroys sins. Shrutichaya shikhare na na pada mukhare Samudita yashasam bhaja Dattam  Praise Datta who rises in His unique glory as the one and only Truth when everything else in Creation has been negated from true existence by the deep spiritual knowledge acquired by the study of Vedanta, the pinnacle of Knowledge (which uses the technique of saying “not thisâ€, “not this†of all that is perceptible to the senses, and imaginable by the mind in the created universe to ultimately define Truth (Paramatman) as that which alone remains when all else has been rejected as being not " Truth " ). Apara digachale mati gati vivare Tata nija charitam bhaja Dattam  Praise Datta who reveals His true glory at sundown (symbolically, since it is the Sun who stimulates the intellect), in the hidden depths of the mind of His devotee that has been stilled (by sleep, thoughtlessness, or samadhi). Swacharana kamale shashi mani vimale Dhrita nata sugatim bhaja Dattam  Praise the glory of Datta who has embedded into His pure and precious gem-like (chandrakaanta mani or moonstone) lotus feet, the wellbeing of the devotees who have surrendered to Him. Nata jana vishaya pradalana nipunam Manasija haranam bhaja Dattam Praise the glory of Datta who is an adept at clearing the doubts of His devotees. Worship Datta who destroys the worldly desires of those who take refuge in Him. Shama dama niyatair anupada kalitam Sachchidaanandam bhaja Dattam Praise Datta, who is Sat, Chit, and Ananda, Truth, Consciousness, and Bliss, who is worshipped by those who are calm and serene, having their sense organs and their mind under complete control.  Sri Guru Datta
