August 24th 2:00 pm - Vara Lakshmi Vratham was conducted this morning in Prasanthi Nilayam This morning the devotees who registered for the Vara Lakshmi Vratham were all wearing the same saris and sat in rows in the Sai Kulwant Hall. By our rough estimates they were nearly 3000 devotees performing the pooja. In Swami's presence the event began. And the devotees started performing the vratham with the material that were given to them. After a while Swami left the Sai Kulwant Hall for the book stall where Swami gave a discourse to small number of devotees who were gathered there. Swami returned back to Sai Kulwant Hall and the 2 hour long Vara Lakshmi Vratham ended with bhajans.
