some more thoughts

I have some more thoughts i feel i must share. Please respond actively if you

have counter thoughts.

 

I believe Puyja Sri Swamiji has set this target for His devotees and disciples

in such a way that we, 45+ selected people around the world, now are facing some

great tests in order to meet the december target. I dont believe the effort

sould be outward (looking for others to start chanting).. i believe the chanters

should increase their counts.

 

I have a few years of jappa experience, and i believe it is very very very

difficult for us normal people, who are not self realized, to be able to engage

others to start chanting, and most certainly not engage into for example daily

0.5 hour session chanting.

 

I myself am commited to 5 mala's (540 counts) a day (minimum), this takes me

approx. 0.5 hours a day. However i could wake up early 04 am and do 2 hour chant

and 10 pm 2 hour chant and then i would realize 40 malas a day (4320 counts).

Then if i could do this for a month or two, then i could increase it (more

efficient chanting) to 50 or 60 malas a day which would be the maximum for me a

day, given the fact that i have a family.

 

I believe that doing such a maximum count a day will engage a transformation,

...one will transform into higher states of existence or become higher beings. In

other words one will attain siddhi's. With that gain we will have to carry out

Puyja Sri Swamiji His work.

 

I remember reading a speech that in the future sri swamiji wants people to be

proud to meet a devotee of Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda. (I will look up this

speech.)

 

If this select group of 45+ people commit themself and sacrifice some time and

help each ohter in order to do 50+ malas a day, than people will stil speak

about these 45+ people in 400 years, because these people will do great things.

 

Perhaps the top 5 chanters should give us tips. It would be nice to read a few

words from them on this topic.

 

I do not use recordings of any kind when chanting, the sound comes out of my

mouth in a murmur, but how they sound in your head is whats counts, not how they

sound in your ear. It is a very great staring idea though to use back ground

recording to keep count and etc.

 

Anyway, i feel we should do a collective effort to meet the december target.
