Dear Dharma Deva, Thanks for the explanation, very reasonable. I feel reassured. Although I never really actually thought Rudra would go the way of Tm prices..... Om namah Michael rudracenter <no_reply > wrote: Dear Michael JiNamaskar and thank you for your message..........maybe I can help explain this rise in prices........ is a combination of things

takeing place as usual..... however is mostly a matter of cost of doing businessthe Moaist Guerillas still hold sway over the Bandhars in Nepal and the Bandhar just outside the Arun Valley where the remaining Nepal Rudraksha forest exists.........this forest is not so large and is a rarity on this earth...........the families who own the tracts of land are under pressure by the Maoist to help support their cause as is every other person who creates money flow in that area............ from Kathmandu to the outer Bandhars east and west of Kathmanduthe Maoists have also spread down on the Gangetic Plain to India supporters in towns along the foothills of Nepal.......alot of this you can find in the Nepal newspapers online..........They are causeing a great deal of difficulty with anyone who travels to do business from one place to anotherThe new prices you are seeing......for

example the 5 Mukhi going up 25 cents each is a reflection of the difficulty of getting the new crop of Holy Beads out of Nepal.......... as the only really safe way to the Arun Valley is by helicopter and helicopters also attract the attention of anyone for miles aroundthe Beads are costing more to extract from country of origin and although some collector families basicly smuggle them past the Maoist and get down into India and deliver them to Mumbai home office...........many is the time when a costly trip has to be made directly to the Valley.......as no chances are to be taken with some of the higher Mukhi RudrakshaSupply and demand is also a factor as we have more and more cleints each year.......and less Rudraksha comeing out of Nepal.........more distributors each year and again less Rudraksha comeing out of Nepal........in addition to this the glaceirs in Nepal Himalayas are

drying up so we dont know the future of the forest as global warming is distrubting the rain cycle that feeds all parts of the planet.........future will be extremely difficult for all liveing on this planet in comeing years if the glaciers do not replenish themselves as this is the main source of the rainwater and climate cycles that feed all the landI took a look at the prices on the website and if you stay away from the higher Mukhi Beads over 12 Mukhi then what has been priced is still reasonable even if you obtain Eka Mukhi and 2 Mukhi to 12 Mukhi on red thread for first wearingPrices for the most popular Eka Mukhi to 12 Mukhi are still most reasonably priced.......... regarding all this issues and especially the cost of doing business...... if we are to provide the amount of Rudraksha Beads to the growing numbers who are requesting them from one growing season to the next then the

prices will only go higher in the future.........as more and more want and there are less and less to go around combined with cost of extraction and higher prices from the suppliers the Rudraksha will only increase in worth..........to those who collect the Holy Rudraksha is collector quality as a collection this is a good thing for themHave wondered many times about the cost of the Beads before the Maoist took over the trade routes in Nepal and the cost now and agree that it is a sad situationPlease rest assured that Rudra Center cannot possibly follow the path of TM Movement and has no interest in doing so specific to financial manipulation like many other organizations as this is not our intent and purposeRegarding reasonable priceing..........this will stay in place for the Eka Mukhi to 12 Mukhi however when you start with the higher Mukhi Beads it is a different story due to their

rarity.........then again.....what is reasonable to one is not to another............ in 2005 a member of the TM Movement bought one Bead from us for US $10500.00 and was not botherd by the price due to the rareity of the Holy Rudraksha that is only seen one to 5 times in an entire years harvestSo what is reasonable to one is certainly different from another depending upon ones circumstancesThe five Mukhi Guru Rudraksha that is also called KaalAgni Rudraksha is still one of the most important of all the Rudraksha and sells for US $1.25 each........am sure you will agree is most reasonable takeing into consideration the cost of actually growig and careing for the Rudraksha Tree so that it matures and then produces the Holy Beads and grows them to maturity and then getting them from Nepal to Mumbai for distribution worldwideThe Siddhi Mala on red thread from Eka Mukhi to 12 Mukhi will last

a client a lifetime and we are trying our best to keep these prices in a reasonable area also so that all that need can eventually acquireHope this help clarify a littleWishing you and Family the BestDhanyavaad cha PranamsRudra Center India and AmericaDharmaDev Arya , "Michael" <spiritmed wrote:>> Ommmmm> > I've noticed that many of the prices keep going up on rudra's site.
