News

Sorry we couldn't bring you much news in the past few

days. But there are musical programs going on every other day in Prasanthi

Nilayam. During the evening bhajans there are musical programs in the evening

by the devotees from overseas. Swami blesses each group and give them

permission to perform. So musical programs every other day. We will be back in

Puttaparthi soon, then we will get you news and information with many more

details.

Thought for the

Day

Of all

the gifts you receive from God, the greatest gift is Santhosham (contentment).

The opposite of Santhosham is sorrow, which is the fruit of desire that arouses

hope and almost always results in disappointment or despair. One desire

engenders another and proliferates into a hundred, even when it is fulfilled.

It knows no justification and has no end. So, Santhosham is the supreme

blessing of the Lord, who in His infinite Love, puts an end to that

unquenchable thirst. No wealth or other attainment can equal it in efficacy,

Santhosham is the culmination of desire in full contentment and sacred

satiety.

(translated into German

by Marie-Stephanie Freiin von Elverfeldt)

(translated

into Indonesian by Udayo Untarya Wijaya)

Hadiah/anugerah

bentuk-bentuk

keinginan.

(translated into

Spanish by Equipo Namo)

No conoce

saciedad.

(translated into Italian by Mabatini)

Tra tutti

i doni che ricevete da Dio,

il più grande è Santhosham (la

soddisfazione) .

mette termine quella insaziabile sete. Nessuna ricchezza o conquista può

eguagliarlo in efficacia. Santosham è l'apice del desiderio in totale appagamento e sacra

sazietà.
