can a rudraksha lose its energy

Dear Narasimhaye,Last October I gave my brother a rudraksha bead to wear (the one with brain cancer). He passed away in January. I'm not sure if he was still wearing when he died, but I hope so. Dear Raja,

 

Rudrakshas, being the Tears of Lord Shiva and sacred, will not lose

their energies whatsoever. Nobody can deplete the energy of

rudraksha through black magic. All pujas done for rudraksha cannot

be reversed. Nothing can happen to rudraksha to cause it to lose its

qualities. Just imagine, even Lord Yama's attendants cannot take a

soul to hell if the person is wearing rudraksha or is near rudraksha

before or during death (this is mentioned in the scriptures).
