By Sri Swamiji's grace, within three weeks, with our combined effort, close to

200 of Sri Swamiji's books, CDs and DVDs have been placed in over 20 library

locations across the nation, from Alaska to Wyoming, and even Canada. This past

week's success is due to the efforts of Justin, Venkat, and Vijayashri. Anjani

is maintaining a spreadsheet with all the information.

 

Thank you all!

 

Those of you who are still wondering whether you should get involved, please,

jump in and do your bit. Your small effort will go a long way in helping

countless individuals, and helping Sri Swamiji's mission. Please write me an

email and I will send you all the information.

 

To those of you who have taken the time to visit the libraries in your

neighborhood, to do this seva - A hearty Thank You! What you have done is

wonderful! I will follow up.

 

If you have given the materials, such as a list of what is available, your wish

list, information on where to order from, and the reviews, at the main library,

to the concerned librarian, you need not go to other branch libraries. However,

if you could persuade your friends/and co-Datta devotees to do as you did, or to

turn in requests at their neighborhood branch libraries, or request materials

online, it will have a very positive effect.

 

Other types of libraries, such as academic, medical, music, corporate, church,

high school, rehabilitation centers, etc. may be approached as well.

 

Please pass on this explanation clearly to all the devotees that you know across

the country, and within your own neighborhood. More requests the libraries

receive from more people, the stronger the case is for the libraries to acquire

SGS materials.

 

My approach is through the organization that is willing to make the material

available through a small initial donation. Since Sri Swamiji's materials are

not available to libraries through the regular vendors who supply materials to

American libraries, I am contacting them to make the items available.

Your approach is from the patrons'  side, which is more important because the

libraries are there to fill patrons' needs. They need statistics of requests and

check-outs.
