It is not to compare but to know the truth that Hinduism is NOT a religion

but instructions to lead a better way of life for peace , happiness and in

union with nature. I found Taoism coming close to the same philosophy. All

the thousands of Gods and rituals are only meant to please the ordinary men

and not needed for an enlightened person.

So we should explain to all that everyone was born a Hindu as a child -

truly democratic , truly independent , truly free to choose for himself. But

as he/she grows imposition of what others feel right is imposed to the level

of fanaticism. It is also done by some in the name of Hinduism BUT that is

not approved by any religious leader or the public at large. As a Hindu I

accept Jesus and Allah as Shiva or Vishnu. I visit a church and a mosque as

the good energies of people praying is present. Let us strive for removing

all hatred in the name of religion or discourage conversions by force or

inducements of money that again causes problems. Let us spread LOVE not

religion as Love is GOD and not religion.

sub-commentaries for these foundation books, innumerable presentations of

and seek unity with others by inviting them to worship with them whatever

God they wish to pray for!*

 

*Hindus never quarreled amongst one another for the last five thousand years

INDIA is a land of VEDAS. VEDAS tells us about GOD and how to reach him. VEDAS

tell us that soul and GOD. i.e Soul as image of GOD. Pray with Love,

Concentration and merge in Him. The word Hindus came with muslim rulers.  Non

Islamic people were called hindus. The word hinduism came after the muslim

rulers occupied the north India and tried to differentiate muslim with Hindus.

God has taken different avtars to show way to  Human. But God is One. Ways are

different. In India we can reach God by repeating his name. In olden days we

were supposed to do Homas, pujas and etc to please God. Now Sadgurus are

tellings us just repeat Gods name continuously to reach his LOTUS FEET.

Please do not write any more articles differentiating between Hinduism, Islam

and Cristianity. We are here to learn more about GOD, SELF from SADGURU and

reach his LOTUS FEET.

I disagree with some of your remarks in support of Hindus...

 

Is it not true that in the past there were clashes between Vaishnavites and

Shivites ?

How do we explain the countless brutalities that exist in the name of caste

in Hindus?

 

I heard that there is a big temple in Orissa where women are not allowed

( at least till recently)

 

It is human nature to create all these institutions and divide people and

make them fight against one another.

 

NO ONE is lilly white. All of us are culprits.

Just some how manage to survive till our ripe age and die in vain. This is

the meaning o fthis world.

I am sorry ... when I set out to reply I did not really mean to be this

gloomy , but it came out some how like that.

I am not about to change it. I think it is by and large essence of life... -

pointless..\

 

I bow my head to anyone who is willing to correct my response.

I will not argue.

Dear All,

It doesnot behove datta devotees to discuss superiority or otherwise of any

religion, colour , caste or creed.

If we have an inclination to do so, it is a proof that we are not true

devotees of Datta swaroopa Sri Swamiji.!! Nothingless less or nothing

more.!!

Sri Swamiji has many a time said that each religion should be respected by

all.Everyone should follow without any deviation the religion one is born

into. No one should convert from one religion to other and *waste time* as

all religions preach the same , one and only truth!

If we discuss superiority of religions, I feel that we are insulting

Appaji!

Lets us please refrain from doing so .

To be sensitive and * humane* is the greatest religion!

My only prayer to Him is to help stabilize this turbulent mind to become

glassy calm so I can find the answer to " Who Am I? " and see myself in His

reflection - despite the ripples or turbulence around outside me and Help

reduce the 26 " I " s in this message itself to " O " . We are not heros we

are Zeros- Shiva and Parvathi
