Guest guest
Namaste Anil, Transcendental Meditation or TM (trademark) as many call it, is a cult and not a traditional Indian lineage as such. From what I heard, there was a lot of controversy surrounding TM and its former devotees/members, some of whom have made documentaries and gone on tv shows to 'try and expose TM and the people behind it'. It was said that TM was run like a business empire rather than the spiritual refuge or sactuary that it should be. But don't take me for my word as I've only heard it from somewhere else. However there are a lot of websites that have been put up by former TM participants or members that tell of their individual experiences. Yes, the passing of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi is a sad event though. No, I've not practised TM. But I'm sure other friends here may have. It will be nice to hear from them about their feelings and experiences. I sincerely hope they will write in and share their views.
