Guru Purnima 2008! A blessing to one and all!

Jaya Guru Datta

 

It had been a wondrous one week, the past one week! The entire family coming

together, forgetting time, forgetting problems, forgetting the WORLD itself, and

spending time with our Pujya Sadguru! It was a joyous celebration, it was

Vaikuntha here! As we all very well know, such things become possible ONLY

through His grace. All of us should feel very proud to know that we were part

of such grace!

 

His Holiness was happy with everyone's participation, and the way the

arrangements were made and executed, by one and all. Many of you have rendered

your services towards this mammoth execution, and it was truly one family

celebrating its own function. As mentioned earlier, we can not thank anyone, as

we do not thank within the family. It is our duty to be with each other, to

stand for each other, within our own family. It is implicit!

 

Everywhere there is a function in US, Canada, Trinidad, or anywhere for that

matter, let us work as one family, let us speak with one voice, and let us feel

and execute as if it is " every center's " function. Then, the happiness derived

from such samathaa bhaava is quite different. So different that we will only

know when we experience it. There were 187 (pre) " registered " volunteers for

this program, and THEY HAVE ALL COME FROM ALL ACROSS USA, Canada and other

places, to our Volunteer Request posted on Yoga Sangeeta website and to this

jaigurudatta . Result was participation from every group, ownership

for every group, happiness for every group. This also prevents any one single

group (host group) developing ego over the delivery. Something that is against

all teachings of Pujya Sadguru Deva!

 

Sadguru's ways are " mysterious " , to say the least! His actions and His

interaction with devotees is always cryptic. He is there and He is not there.

While He takes you closer once, He ignores you ten times. He seems all-knowing,

and suddenly He seems very confused. He is very angry at times, and smiles in

the next minute. We cannot fathom with certainty. We do not know! We need not

know!! It is simpler to just do what He says and follow Him.

 

If any of you have faced any hardships, intended or unintended, on behalf of the

host group, please accept our sincere apologies. If we " know " , we won't!

Ignorance sometimes leads to mistakes. Getting better is an everyday challenge,

and being in His association is the surely the right step.

 

May we continue to strive for His happiness, and may we find our own Anantha

Tatva in His guidance!
