my 12 mukhi bracelet (9 beads). the first time i touched them i got the thought of lord shiva, literally. so i believe that it is true they are dear to lord shiva. i really don't even pray to lord shiva on a daily basis, actually pray to hanuman daily, so when the thought arose it struck me greatly. also the first mantra that arose in my mind was om namah shivaya which was very bizarre even though this time it meant something when the thought arose. also it invoked the mahamitrunjaya mantra in me and i would say aum alot during it. to be honest i do say the mahamitrunjaya mantra quite often but there was more power to it and also comfort and protection. i also felt closer to god. the next thoughts that arose were that i should always pray to god. i must always hold god to be near to me. also the beads talked about destiny to me. they said there is destiny for you. they said don't think about it but it is true just be you. to be honest these were very impowering thoughts even though thoughts like this that may have creeped up in the past didn't have the same biophysical and mental strength. the thoughts were more believable to me in other words maybe there a sign of greater confidence.

 

i have received this 12 mukhi bracelet just today. i am astounded by the protection it is serving me. i hope this isn't an illusion but the truth about rudraksha. this is my first rudraksha purchsae. furthermore, the craftmanship and detail of the bracelet is astounding. it is a very beautiful item. i love just looking at it. well any comments etc. greatly appreciated. also any similar experiences. this literally was within the first hour of holding the beads.

 

one more thing the smell of the beads is intoxicating as well.

 

was wondering however not to degrade the experience why do the beads have a plastic looking quality to them?
