Those of you who read the messages will already know that Rudra

Center's Dharma Dev Arya, American born Siddha and Rudraksha expert,

passed away last 21st (Feb 2008) after botched surgery. Everyone is

shocked because he was younger than me (I'm 60) and was in good health

up until the start of his Rahu Mahadasha.

This brings up the importance of House position of Rahu. Generally we

have seen that Rahu is only good in the 10th house or 11th house.

Sri DharmaDev has Rahu exalted in Taurus. And as his Rahu Mahadasha

was approaching he was hopeful of good results. I told him Rahu, even

exalted, is not good in the 12th (next life or loss). He was a bit

unhappy and unwilling to hear that. He also was wearing Hessonite

(gomeda) thinking his Rahu was Anukul (just because it was in Taurus).

I advised him against wearing Gomeda. But he wanted to wear. So I

thought, All right! Lets make experiment here.

In spite of his hope for his " good " Rahu period I warned him to watch

out. 12th house strong Rahu is bad news. But he remained optimistic.

Once his Rahu Mahadasha and Bhukti started he became increasingly

paralized, and finally needed surgery. His life was " eclipsed " by 12th

house Rahu and he passed away to everyones surprise.

So let this be a lesson about House Position of cruel planets. Rahu,

even exalted, is very bad in the 12th. Plus he should not have used

Rahu's gem Gomeda, which made matters worse. And matters don't get

much worse than passing away.

He was a really sweet soul. But now he has gone.

Best wishes,

Richard
