Guest guest
Dear Sai Devotees, In this week's eChat, on the occasion of Vijaya Dasami, we will express our eternal gratitude to the unfailing guidance and protection showered on us by the supreme Master of Masters - Samardha Sadhguru Sainath Maharaj. ---------------- The 90th anniversary of Shirdi Sai Baba's Seema Ullanghana (escape from the field) falls on a Thursday - thus making it so much special. Baba's teachings always had a literal meaning and a spiritual meaning. The simple words "Seema" and "Ullanghana" literally mean "leaving this field of ours...human world." For One who is everywhere and everything, how could the literal meaning sound appropriate? It doesn't. The spiritual meaning is much deeper: He is asking all of us to escape from the field of the 6 vices: lust, anger, greed, infatuation, pride and jealousy. He is asking us to feel empowered to see Him everywhere in everything...and not just limit Him to a field or form. ---------------- Shedding human body is NOT seema ullanghana! It is to escape the field of 6 vices............and we can strive to achieve that here and now! OM SAI RAM!
