What is the ultimate ideal that we can think of for the devotees of Sri Swamiji?

When a devotee reacts spontaneously, to the instructions or

advice of the Master, in total sincere attitude freed from

limitations, and preconceptions, then when that spontaneous reaction

demands a Realisation of Truth, the Sheer Presence or the Grace of the

Master works. The Grace dawns on the devotee. The presence becomes

appealing to the Heart of the devotee. First of all Peace comes to

him. Each " interview " with the Master may be some times " imperfect

relation ship " (because we ask and beg many things to happen). But,

again Pure love, can prompt that Grace. love is quite restricted in

its scope in such things. Again, we expect things to workout in some

way by Master;s Grace and if it does not happen, we are dismayed. So,

any service to Master undoubtedly demands Love in its purity, rather

straight from Heart and not to expect much. Knowledge about the pure

state of the Guru or Master and that Understanding heightens the value

of relationship. There, Guru is Brahma, Guru is Vishnu and Guru is

Maheswara, annihilator of unwanted judgements, scepticism and all

sorts of mental changes. Let us not be in a fictitious relations with

Great Master but actually deserve His Grace.

With Datta Friends Happy Ganesh Festival and jai guru datta.
