Yes rose quartz and amethyst can be put together as an ornamental

necklace. Carnelian, black agate, rose quartz and amethyst can also

be strung together as an ornamental necklace. If you wish to have

108 beads on your mala when you put them together, firstly count and

divide the number of beads of each crystal that you have. Then get a

tray and put the alloted beads in it.

 

Another option is to string 9 beads each of one type of crystal,

followed by 9 beads of another till you arrive at making the full

necklace. Please remember to use aa tray so the beads will not roll

off and disappear. You can also ponder on the design you wish to

have. This is done by arranging the beads in the tray to see how they

look and how you feel. Then string the necklace accordingly.
