This morning the devotees who

registered for the Vara Lakshmi Vratham were all wearing the same saris and sat

in rows in the Sai Kulwant Hall. By our rough estimates they were nearly 3000

devotees performing the pooja.

 

In Swami's presence the event began. And the devotees started performing the

vratham with the material that were given to them. After a while Swami left the

Sai Kulwant Hall for the book stall where Swami gave a discourse to small number

of devotees who were gathered there.

 

Swami returned back to Sai Kulwant Hall and the 2 hour long Vara Lakshmi

Vratham ended with bhajans.

Some

people entertain some newfangled ideas about Yoga (spiritual union), Jnana

(spiritual wisdom) and Sanyasa (renunciation). What is true Yoga? Yoga is

control of the vagaries of the mind. It is control of the senses. One should

treat alike both praise and censure, pleasure and pain. This kind of

self-restraint is Yoga. What is Jnana? Advaita Darshanam Jnanam (The Vision of

the One without a second is the supreme knowledge). To recognise the

Ekatma-Bhaava (the feeling that the same Atma dwells in all beings) is Jnana.

True Sanyasa is in the transformation of one's qualities and not in the change

of garb. The mind must change, not the apparel. A true Sanyasi (renunciant) is

one who has attained mastery over all his senses and has given up all desires.

He is a Sanyasi who seeks the feet of the Lord, giving up all attachments to

the body, which is subject to disease and decay. He must treat life and death,

pleasure and pain alike.

heute sichern und schützen müssen sind Wahrheit und Rechtschaffenheit

(GOTTGEMÄSSES Handeln) und nicht die Nation. Wenn Wahrheit und

sollte Rechtschaffenheit in jedem Zuhause gefördert werden. Ein Zuhaue ist kein

tinggi, maka dengan sendirinya bangsa/negara tersebut akan terlindungi. Oleh

sebab itu, kebajikan haruslah terpelihara dengan baik di dalam setiap rumah.

Rumah-tangga bukanlah sembarang tempat, ia merupakan singgasana bagi Dharma

yang akan melindungi bangsa & negara. Rumah-tangga adalah laksana

mercu-suar yang akan menerangi seisi dunia serta memeliharanya. Kaum wanita

harus menyadari hal ini, tanpa membeda-bedakan derajat pendidikan dan

kedudukan, tugas utama kaum wanita adalah melindungi rumah-tangganya. Apabila

wanita dihormati, maka niscaya akan terdapat kemakmuran dan kebahagiaan.

Janganlah memperlakukan wanita secara tidak hormat. Kemakmuran tidak akan

menghampiri rumah-tangga yang di dalamnya terdapat seorang wanita yang

menitikkan air-mata
