My experience on 22nd Jan 09 during Sri Sai Amrit Vani recitation at Sidhartha Ext.

Dear Sai Bhakt,

Last Thursday i.e. 22.01.2009, I and my wife Swati attended Amrit Vani at Sidhartha Ext. An event occurred in addition to miracles mentioned in ‘’ .

Let me narrate the happening:

Since long, I have been taking one ‘Pulka’ and fruits in the breakfast, small quantity of fruits during lunch and usual snacks in night. That means, I dot not take Rice which is our staple food. On 21st Jan 2009, at about 8 PM, before going for dinner, I told Swati that I resolve not eat Wheat or Rice on Thursdays with effect from next day being Thursday and prefer to take fruits and usual snacks at night. Swati was not convinced (not happy) with my resolve since it may disturb my health as I had to attend office and require some energy. But she was silent and left it to Baba with in her to accept or not to accept my decision. She has full faith in Him.

Next day, i.e. 22nd Jan 2009 (Thursday), we had morning tea and one cup of milk before proceeding to Sidhartha Ext. to attend Sri Sai Amrit Vani.

After Amrit Vani recitation and taking Charnamrit & Bhog packet from Madam Veenaji, I and Swati were ready to take leave. First Shri. Ashokji, asked me to wait. When most of the devotees left the place, Swati went to Madam Veenaji to seek permission to leave. Then Madam asked her to wait and offered to take lunch along with them and other remaining devotees.

We waited. The food was being served in plates with Dahl, vegetable, Alu Pratha, Raita, kichdi, etc. Some devotees occupied the dinning table and some were in Sofas. I was in Sofa as I decide not to take lunch. Madam Veenaji brought to me one plate. I started to explain her about my decision of not to take rice or wheat on Thursdays. She immediately referred to Sri Baba Sachritra, persuaded me not to refuse Prasad. It is a sacred offer and one should not refuse as she is known as ‘Sai Maa’. I felt that Baba conveyed His decision through Madam Veenaji. I saw Him in her. The message was clear. It was a thrilling experience which can only be felt but can not be explained. I accepted the ‘Prasad’ offered by Madam Veenaji. This event has two messages to convey:

1. Baba responded to Swati for her faith in Him.

Baba proved once again that His actions are alike before and after 15th Oct 1918. Faith in Him and Patience are essential to reach Him.

It was a repetition of event experienced by “Ghokhale’s wife” as per chapter 32 of Saisacharitra.
