At that auspicious time, the position of the planet Ravi was in the Vrishabha

Lagna, which is the house of Sukra and hence Sukra became ascendant. Saturn

remained in conjunction with the Sun as he wished to make it known that Sri Guru

Datta was above the tendencies of an inimical nature. (Saturn and Sun are

rivals). Guru, Budha and Kuja occupied the second place suggesting that they are

regarding him as Lord Trinetra(Shiva) himself.

The moon occupied the 5th house(the mind) suggesting the mental poise of

Gurudev. Rahu and Kethu, the shadow planets, fled to the 4th and 10th houses

respectively. Knwoing that Gurudev is the real shadow(that gives rest)to the

whole universe.

Later, regaining her consciousness due to the heat of the Sun, the mother with

tears of joy saw the boy in her lap.

The Boya women noticed the mother who did not know any labour pains and the boy

who did not suffer any pain of the cutting of the umbilical cord and took them

both to the house of Jayalakshmi.

The moment the boy was laid on the bed arranged by the grandmother, the

salagrama mala on the boy’s neck disappeared.

Jayalakshmi did not reveal the secret and significance of the birth of her son.

The scholarly father, Narasimha Sastry, was overjoyed by the birth of his son

and gave him the name of Satyanarayana.
