Guest guest
Namaste Gina, both books are fine in the sense that they both contain different information. The one titled Power of Rudraksha contains all the info about mukhis, points out which mukhis are for what ailments. From this you can roughly gauge the Chakras and endocrine glands they are associated with. The other book by Suhas Roy elaborates on experiments done with electrical equipment to measure the electric properties of rudraksha in different mukhis. They are individual books in their own right I guess. So far, rudraksha therapists and Ayurvedic physicians haven't published any material on the use of rudraksha in remedies. However one day I'm sure several will be made available once their findings and research are completed. When the beads are worn and handled with care, i.e. not tugged at, etc, its ok to soak them together in oil. But if you wish, you can soak them individually too. I've found that oil doesn't do any harm to the caps or thread/cord. Except they get a little oily afterwards but oil can be strained off by using paper kitchen towels. After that, residue oil moisturizes the skin when we put the mala on again. If you 'see', pray, meditate and focus on the 15 mukhi as being the representation of the Supreme Absolute (God), it is possible to evoke and harness its 'spiritual essence' as such. There have been many folks in the past here, who have done so with different mukhi beads and succeeded in their sadhanas with bhakti. The mantra is : Om Pashupataye Namah. The other mantra that is used universally for all rudraksha beads is Om Namah Shivaya. The Lord Pashupati 15 Mukhi Rudraksha also represents Lord, God, Master and Shiva All As One In The Same. Meaning " One in All and All in One " . Puja can be a simple as lighting a ghee lamp, offering incense, flowers, camphor, nuts and fruits, then chanting the mantra. But if you would like to perform the full puja, its in the next message.. Ask whatever and whenever you want. This is what this Group is for There is always someone who will respond and on occasion some friends may have the time to write in about their individual experiences too.
