(11) Sai gramam - KERALA The Concept: Sai gramam a Unique Project of Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust, is coming up at Thonnakkal amidst the picturesque surroundings of "Pandavanmala" about 29 Kms. from Thiruvananthapuram. The Project is to initiate and develop various schemes of service to benefit the weaker sections of the society, particularly the forsaken children, children from very poor families, mentally retarded children, physically disabled persons and also old men and women deserted by their relatives. This project when fully materalised will project the ideas which India has cherished for centuries together, namely the equality and truth for all religions and universal brotherhood of man. The inmates of Sai Gramam would develop and blend into a unified, peaceful community harmoniously integrated with the environment and natural surroundings and would try to fulfill the vision and mission of our ancient sages as well as that of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
