Guest guest
Namaste Narasimhaye, I know that PARAD is composed of Mercury and Silver and also that Mercury is very toxic. Although I have faith in the panditji from Rudra centre who prepares the beads with the requisite procedure. I don't know if it will pass through customs here in Gulf if I order itas they do monitor all such items. Will wait for some signs from above to give a hint if I should go ahead or not. Guest guest
Namaskar Suresh, I'd sent my reply to you earlier but it doesn't seem to appear here. So I'm sending again..... You can be assured that any parad made by Vaidya Shree Pundit Deenanath of Jaipur is of good quality and non-toxic. Parad is safe when is no greyish coat and nothing is peeling off in layers of something that may resemble dust or rust. Its ok when green spots appear when parad is in contact with water. When doing puja with moist flowers which are left on the Shivling from one day to a few days, its the wet flowers that produce algae type spots. For example if you leave a bunch of flowers in a vase for a day or more, the stems produce green algae strips too. When parad is tied to the waist, its true that water, moisture and sweat wil make the green coating appear but not when the bead is fully dry. This means the parad is fine. In this case, no need to worry about the edges. Aum Namah Shivaya , " M.Suresh Kumar " <Sureshi wrote: > > Dear Narasimhaye, > > Thank you for your reply! Sorry I haven't get the photo yet. For your information I purchased both parad bead and parad Shivaling from rudra centre made by Vaidya Shree > Pundit Deenanath of Jaipur. > The coating is purely green and no greyish coat. Some green spots appear on the Shivaling too when it came in contact with water. When we do pooja, we use to offer flower which is wet or contains moisture. The next day or few days later, there will be bright green spot like ALGAE appear on the moisture surface of parad shivaling. > I tied the parad bead on my waist. Due to water/moisture, this green coating appear. No such problem when the bead is dry! This situation also happends when we use other type of metal such as copper and brass. > Please feel free to give your oppinion on this. Thank you! > > Best Regards, > Suresh >
