Please let me know the relevance of Gayatri & Lord

Vishnu Mantra from astrology perspective.Further what

is the advantage of reciting mantra of the Nakshatra

under which we are born like for Uttarsada-2 Nakshatra

, Lord Vishnu's mantra is recited.

 

Further Homam & Puja is one & same or different.
