Guest guest
Why me! Oh Lord! Life is not a smooth sailing boat for many. Some times it rocks. becomes turbulent. We may face relationship, career, health, financial problems or any other so called misfortunes. We call them as the will of God; blame it on " Karma, karma " . Blame it on others ETC. Some may seek the help of an astrologer, seek remedial measures, some follow them fully or with half heart. Some decide to fight it out, or wait patiently for the tough time to over and see light at the end of tunnel. Some give up and go to depression and lassitude. Some of the problems though we think are caused by others, we do not examine ourselves and do not follow the dictum " before you try to change others change yourself first " . Half hearted attempts, half remedial measures will not produce satisfying results like a half backed bread or chapatti or half cooked rice. Let us look at Sundara Kanda and see what Hanuman did. First hanuman thinks it is difficult for him to cross the ocean. When once he realizes he can cross the Ocean, he gains confidence and courage. Look at his prayers (Valmiki Ramayana) He prays to his mother (Anjana), his father vayu (kesari) his guru Surya and lastly to god. How many times we remember and seek the blessings of our parents. How many times we remember them or serve them. Mata- pita- Guru- Daivam. Daivam is the last – Number 4. Mother and father are number 1 and 2. Many of us do not have a physical guru in real life. Ask Siva (Dakshina murthi, Hanuman or smart Ganesh (intuition will teach tricks) or divine mother to be your Guru and give guidence. I can assure you " they will not refuse you " . You will be guided and get intuitive thoughts. But it is up you to act upon them. Half baked attempts. This what most people will do? Like my good friend who used to recite Hanuman chalisa once in a day and expected results. When once he kept his*** on the ground and recited Hanuman challis 100 times for about 5 times he saw light and the dark clouds clearing away. Failure to initiate action I probably told about the way of " making Sri Lakshmi as partner to about 10 people " . Some said 10% ---It is too much? . How about 5 %. Is it OK with 5%? They start bargaining. We do not have time, I can not get the correct picture and kee on post pone, procrastinating from the last 15 years are in the same boat. About 3 of them who followed it are doing really well. This time I became little bold and posted it this form. I hope Harish in Heaven will not get mad at me. Depression. Lack of attempts. Giving up. We all have free will. Nothing to stop us from seeking divine help. Hanuman is the one gives us strength and courage to fight out the adverse situation. He gives courage to Sri Seetha under the simshupa tree in Ashoka vana. Even great people make a mistaken Judgment call. Even Hanuman mistakes for few seconds Mandodari in Ravanas palace for sita. Immediately he realizes his mistake. That she can not be Sita sleeping in another bed in Ravanas palace. Even great people loose hope at times. Even Sita thinks of committing Suicide by hanging herself with her long her to the tree branch. When Hanuman looses hope of finding Sita in Lankaand becomes desperate. He prays to the God. " Namosthu Ramaya SA lakshmanya Devyicha Tasmai Janaka tma jayayi Nomaosthu Rudrendra Yamani le bhyo " Totally there about 6 slokas called as Jaya gosha in sundara kanda of valmiki known. Gives courage, strength and success. Ten Hanuman gets intuitive thought to search Ashoka vana Taking a break. People do take a break soon after they start it. Learn from hanuman. When he is crossing the ocean he does not take a break, when Mainaka offers him. No He says, " I have work to do. " .I will stop over next time.
