ABOUT SATURN

 

This is adopted from three sources.

 

From the book " Saturn friend or foe " . From the Satsang we attended

and from the questions and answers session in USA by a Swami from

India.

And also from the teachings of Yogiraj Vedadri maharishi.ie

(Navagraha tapas.)

No attempt is made to smoothly present the some what harsh sayings

in the discussions. Some remedial methods that worked suggested are

also included.

Saturn is a best friend and when one heeds his advice, one is

benefited. But those who pay no heed to his advice, he uses his whip

since Saturn is " Stern School Master " . He wants reformation, changes

and good effects.

 

Saturn is like that school master who can make students to stay

extra hours in their Schools to make them best prepared for their

examinations.

 

When consulted the Astrologers tell people " oh " you are under Sade

sati " or adverse effects of Saturn. They prescribe " Puja " or methods

of propitiations.

 

The frustrations and limits of Saturn are therefore a kind of

roadblock that point to new directions and fresh thinking... Saturn

asks us to renounce useless patterns and find new ways to build a

better future which we can do only by looking within ourselves.

 

Let us say as an example you are arrested for drunken driving and

you will be arrested and go to the jail and loose your drive license.

All that Saturn wants you to evaluate why got in to the habit of

drinking,

Why you broke the law by drunken driving?

 

If you got hypertension and diabetes and evaluate yourself why you

are overweight, eating habits and your physical exercise pattern.

 

Saturn is like a tough judge. He will try to enforce the rules as

the law dictates.

But plea bargaining is possible. He won't let you go free.

 

Instead of giving rigorous imprisonment and loosing license, He may

ask you to that pay fine, quit the habit and as a punishment ask you

to do social service. But for that he will make sure that you are

reformed.

 

Let me say this

 

If you evaluate yourself, agree the past mistakes, and assume the

responsibilities for your past and present bad karmas

 

What all he will you do is that instead of being hit by truck and

suffer multiple fractures; you will be hit by bicycle and come out

with few skin abrasions.

 

Question.

 

I pray to Lord Vishnu every day.

 

Is it not true that in Bhagavat Geetha-Viswa rupa darshan He says

all the planets, rivers mountains pancha bhuthas, all planets are

with in Him? Then Why do I have pray separately for Saturn?

Ans:

Let us think that the chief minister of your state is your friend.

You do not want to approach him for every thing. For few things you

have to approach the police superintendent, other ministers and

staff of the secretariat.

 

Question.

 

I wear Yanthra.I worship daily

Is it sufficient?

 

No. Give the all Karma to Him. Feel the presence of the deity of the

Yanthra with you and later with in you. Always ask him for guidance.

Say this simple prayer every day.

 

God Act through me.

God Speak through me

God help and love other people through me.

I am your tool. Use me and I surrender to you...

 

Then you are surrendering your Karmic responsibility.

 

Question: I do Sri Satya Naryan puja for every pournami (full

moon).Still I suffered in my Sade sati. Why?

Know the hidden meaning of Satya Narayan Puja is to accept SAT is

NARAYAN.

 

That is truth is God.

 

Satya Narayan puja is not about making Prasad, all the ladies in the

home wearing pattu (silk Saris) and having good food. Have you

shared it with any under privileged people? Give a little to the

poor?

What did you learn from the Katha? The Merchant (vyapari) broke his

promise to Lord Satya Narayan and paid a penalty and suffered.

 

Question: I am getting in to Shane Maharaja next year. Are there any

preventive measures I should under take to lessen the suffering?

 

Answer: Next week is dashera (Devi Nava Rathras) during the 9 nine

day period, offer every day, and asks the divine mother to kill all

the negative qualities with in you.

 

They are Kama, krodha, eersha, mada, Masyaryas. The Asuras (demons)

are with in you. Like Mahishasura, Raktha beeja Etc.If you ask

Divine mother will help and take care of them. That is the real

meaning of Dasher. That will cause reformation in you and by Vijay

dashami you will be purified and it will help you to face the Saturn

maha dasha.
