In this manner, the young boy practiced the disciplines for 12 years and almost reached the last lap of his learning. But he was disturbed by what he saw in the world around him. He wanted to remove the entire misery in the world in one stroke and this desire robbed him of mental peace. On intuting his mother’s bidding, he went to the Himalayas and, after taking bath in the Manasasarovar, he gained a profound mental peace. With the money earned by undergoing so many trials and tribulations, he performed the marriage of the first of his younger sisters, The young Yogi raja later, at the prompting of Lord Arka Ganapathi, left his relative’s house and decided to live in the house of his friend, who was living in the colony of the Electricity Department employees. The moment he stepped into the house, the Ganapathi Stone(which was earlier presented by his mother and instantly disappeared) materialized before him. Looking at it, “What shall I do?” he asked of the stone. From that moment, the stone assumed the name of ‘Prasna Ganapathi’. Thereafter, performing the sacrificial Ganapathi Homam under the prompting of Lord Ganapathi, the Yogi began displaying crores of wonderful miracles. Sri Guru Datta.
