Guest guest
Dear all, Another pearl from our webook. With Regards, Lakshmi Prasd Hyderabad *** Sri Swamiji's discourse Grapevine Convention Center – Dallas, Texas, USA 29 July 2003 – 8 PM Many great civilizations developed near great rivers. It was the saying that bathing in those rivers removed sins. GANGA PAAPAM CHANDRA PAAPAM - SADGURU TAAPA PAAPA NIVARAKA. It means bathing in Ganga relieves of sings. Moon light basking removes heat in body. Guru removes both sins and heat within you. Guru is like full moon. Body has many pains. Pains which you can feel and many pains you cannot feel. Body's internal workings are a mega secret. SAMSAARAM DUKHAMAYAM. So is the life led by this body. Life has too much worries for this body. First you have study problem, then comes marriage problem then comes children problem. Then comes the settlement of the children. After that comes the parents problems. Visa problem. Green card problem. Employment problem etc. Mood is constantly in works. So, Samsaaram is Dukhamayam. Life has ceased to bring satisfaction. You want more money. Even billionaires want more money. They never have satisfaction. Some thing or the other thing. You are upset and have many questions. So, when ever you meet a Guru you besiege him with questions. Poor Guru. He is the unlucky fellow. You all are SAMSAARIS - Family holders. SANYAASI DUKHI. The Sanyasi is in sorrow. He may look simple and quite happy. But inside he is in sorrow. You family holders somehow get small amount happiness. The Sanyaasis have to ensure ego does not enter in him. He has to be in guard. Always. The wheel of Samsara does not stop. It keeps on spinning. We must have taken so many births. So many names. So many countries. Yesterday someone asked 'Why cant people remember what they were in last birth?'. Well what to say? God wants to ensure you don't remember any thing from last birth. If you remember what you were in last birth, your dog may be your last birth's aunt. God is very clever. If you could remember, world would be in chaos. This is Maaya. This is why past life should never be researched. Think of present. Don't even think of future. We can never know where we will be in next life. So, don't struggle too much. Respect the body. Struggle only 20%. Take life easy. This is not a permanent drama. Rest 80- % enjoy life by thinking about Brahma Jnaana. Don't do mistake again by falling in the circle. Be careful. When a child is born, it cries 'KIM'. The meaning in Sanskrit is 'Why Why Why'. It is crying 'why' because it is in sorrow that why it has returned back here. This cry exists for a couple of moments only. It is in sorrow (the JEEVI). But those around it are in happiness that a child is born. Who knows what thoughts pervade the people around it. Father may be worried that this is the 5th child. The mother might be worrying that it is a boy and that she wanted a girl. Etc. etc., Other relatives will be wondering whom does the child resemble. In this massive confusing thoughts, the child will be wondering why is it here. While in death, the Jeevi is in happiness while others surrounding will be weeping. The Jeevi is happy that it is escaping this massive confusion of life and the debt burden. Only rarely does a JEEVI get attached to something and cry while dying. Today Bhagavan (the president the Mandir who deceased recently) is happy that Swamiji is here. He is in my heart. Today I do not have the mood to talk. Let me sing couple of Bhajans. I want to give something in the memory of Bhagavan. Saying so, Sri Swamiji materializes Vibhooti from a flower garland. ______________________________\ ______________ " Guru is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. He is OM. He is light.
