Namate Pawl, what it means is that rudraksha should not be frequently

or regularly exchanged for wearing. Its due to each bead or mala

being already synchronized with the owner's energies after first

wearing it for more than 30 to 45 days. Thus they should not be

passed back and forth.

In the case of beads (gifts) previously worn by former owners, once

they have given the bead or mala to you without condition, they

relinquish spiritual ownership and 'hold' over the energies they and

the beads had accummulated with each other. In these cases, the

beads are then free to pick up and work with your energies to become

distinctively 'your personal beads' over a period of time.
