THE GREEN MAN

In my opinion THE GREEN MAN has intimate connection with Planet MERCURY, which

is  Sri Swamiji’s  Ascendent Lord,  acc. tropical System. He is having 5

Planets in the sign of GEMINI,  which is ruled by Planet Mercury,  the Planet

of Knowledge and Wisdom. 

The colour of Mercury is known to be GREEN, symbolizing it’s special

connection with Mother Nature.  Sri Swamiji is very much connected with

Nature.  In fact it is said, there is no end to His love to Nature!

Sri Swamijii  in the last years has installed  several Murtis in GREEN STONE 

(MARAKATA);  Rajarajeshwari,  Hanuman and Subrahmanyam.  Marakata is known as

THE MOST PURE, purer than Diamond, with excellent healing properties. 

In this connection I was also thinking on the EMERALD TABLET of Hermes

Trismegist, who was known as having the triple Wisdom of the whole world and was

an Avatara of the Mercury principle. His Slogan “As above – so below†is

well known. It is also an attribute of Lord Dattatreya .  Mercury is the

greatest connector between man and God, Haeven and Earth!  On the highest level

it represents the ADIGURU (ADIMERCURY) principle, which is even capable of

overpowering the Sun!  And Adiguru is our DATTA!  Adiguru is SUKSHMA NETRA and

Cosmic Master.  As Adimercury he has millions of facets to fulfil his mandates.

Sri Swamiji says, in fact there is only ONE Marakata-Murty  (He Himself).  He

is our MARAKATA VIRAT SWAROOPA.
