Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta, When facing difficulties ones devotion increases. We then meet, call or email Sri Swamiji immediately for help. When the difficulties or problems have gone away one tends to lower the intensity of the connection/frequency with Sri Swamiji. So by definition such devotion can not classify as steadfast or constant. Who can give me some pointers as to how you have improved your devotion by becoming more steadfast. What is steadfast devotion? I feel it has a strong relationship with patience also with love and negative relation with ego(ism). Suppose you have steadfast devotion, then you will have no more need to ask questions or even speak with Sri Swamiji...correct?? Then you will sit quietly and be happy serving Sadguru?? Your thoughts, please. Sri Guru Datta, Win.
Guest guest
Jaya Guru Datta As long as we have to meet our duty as a grihastha we would be turning to our Sadguru in dire emergency to solve our family problems. Even though Swamiji has time and again assured us that 'we are His property' and after we have boarded His train keeping our loads of problems on our heads would be foolish on our part, we do turn to Him either during meditation or when we cannot control our fear , by email. By meditating upon Him everyday without fail , atleast for half an hour in the early morning and at dusk sitting in front of His photo we will be able to feel His presence close . Once He fills our heart fully with unconditional love the need to e mail should seize. We should feel blessed to be chosen as His devotee that has set us on the path of knowing our real self and progress upward spiritually burning all our karmas to finally become one with Him.
