Guest guest
Namaste Anil, Yes Kundalini Awakening is a welcome topic here as its a spiritual path. That is, if our friends who've experienced this, would not mind sharing or telling us what its like. Most people consider it a private matter and only between them and their guru. Indeed you are right about there being a lot of hype about the subject with varied information. Would like to recommend only traditional lineages when it comes to learning this. I can't remember whether it was Swami Sivananda Saraswati or Swami Satyananda Saraswati who wrote works about Kundalini. One of them might have been titled Tantra Yoga. In it was mentioned that training should be undertaken by being initiated by a guru, otherwise there will be complications. Once the kundalini is awakened, the practitioner should know how to manage it, otherwise there will be different complications. Its also said the practitioner or shishya experiences bliss and all sorts of siddhis, including clairvoyance or clairaudience, etc. His/her 3rd eye will be open. Like yourself, I hope friends who have had the experience and happen to know more would come forward to enlighten us.
