Dear James,

I know the qualities of the Camel. What I am looking for is the reason and the

symbology behind Hanumans choice,Yes the Camel can go long distamnces in rough

conditions, yes he can go without water for long time, Etc., but what does it

all mean in relation to spiritual persuits.

I very much like the way that Swamiji explains the Vahana of Sri Ganapathi and

others.

I will wait untill I see Swamiji and ask this very important question to Him

directly so that I KNOW that I am getting a proper and correct response.

If my E-mails landed in the spam folders then how do you recieve from this

group?

Some of your emails landed up in the Spam folders, that may be a reason.

But that is not the reason surely for Hanuman to opt for a camel.

 

I feel like telling you, but put it aside that, you probably got the answer

somewhere,or it is not forme to say that, but since I am receiving thisemail, I

HAVE to do it.

 

Putting myself in Hanuman's positon, (I love my Hero) I could only think of, not

taking anybody'shelp, since I can doall those things myself. Iam intended to do

all of them. I have everything.ALl blessed by the Gods. And the ever present

Chakra of Ram.

 

But Ram Himself, asked me to pick a car. OK,  I will take the Camel. It does

carry people, its masters, the luggage, the merchandise, the weapons,

everything. Not much of a talker. Does everything first, talks later. Even when

words come out, they are just suffice words. Goes on and on with out even the

precious water. across the sea of

sand. Inbuilt nostril closers and body parts and organs,designed totake the

journeys and labours of these kinds,  Built heavy and strong yet can run on sand

tirelessly, vegetarian, and readytogive the fluids to the master, if the

situation requires in the middle of a horrible desert journey.

 

And above all ready to give the life and flesh to the master, and never expect

anything in return, not even love.

 

Besides. no one would have wanted to have the camel, all theGods would

haveselected allthe other exotic cars, poorcamelmust be standing aside, looking

pathetically...so, the Hero of the Gods proved oncemore that He is a Hero.

 

I love Hanuman, I like my Swamiji. It is better that I don't go close, very

close to Swamiji, saying, I love you and all that. He told

me that He loves me, ((What an energetic,deep from the base of His body He said

that ! in front of all !) the way He said that !!!) But the closer we get to

Him, the

harder the realization of this materialistic world.

Did anyone find out anything about the Vahana of Hanuman?

I have not seen anything posted so far.

Any information would be greatly apreciated.

Why a Camel? What is the symbology?
