Guest guest
Namaskar Nikhil, You are most welcome. Yes, Derick Nurse got a Bagalamukhi yantra and he's written in a preceding message today how its helped him. He got it from Rudra Centre. You are right there are 10 variants of Sudarshana Yantra. Speaking of this yantra again, I've just remembered that Bagalamukhi yantra from Rudra Centre is depicted with the Goddess and the demon so it means they've got the right yantra. Bagalamukhi was about to kill the demon Madan when he pleaded to be depicted with Her so she relented. This is how it came to be on most yantras. There are other rarer depictions such as Bagalamukhi the Paralyzer, etc. Chinnamasta is one of the ten Mahavidyas of course, and is usually depicted beheaded and with her life's blood springing out of her. Chinnamasta Yantra is used in the Hindu Tantric tradition. It is believed to bless its user with progeny and also protect from poverty. Fully understand why you need to be cautious before obtaining yantras as the wrong ones can cause a lot of problems instead of remedying them. So sorry to hear about your friend who was gifted with a misplaced central triangle and absent bindu. Good that he realized and disposed of it in time! Also, I've heard that there are 10 variants of Sudarshana Yantra (based on the discus of Lord Vishnu) for various objectives from general protection, fame, and wealth. Was not aware of such variants in Dasha Mahavidya's Yantras. > > As you said, probably, it may be due to the difference in the teachings of their guru or > Sampradaya. I had mentioned this once in this group, One of my friends was gifted a Sri Chakra from a website.... unfortunately the central triangle was misplaced and the bindu was absent in it. The fellow went through a lot of trouble during the few weeks he kept it at home until it was disposed in the sea. > > This is the reason for my abundant caution. > > regards > > Nikhil >
