Jaya Guru Datta, Jai Karya Siddhi Hanuman!

Personal Message from Sri Swamiji

From

July 3rd to July 12th, with the blessings of Lord Dattatreya, there are

three extraordinary events happening in the Dallas area. These events are a

gift from Lord Dattatreya specifically for Dallas, especially for Hanuman

Devotees and music lovers.

The

inauguration of the Cultural Center also known as the Community Hall at

the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple has been scheduled for July 3rd. I am very

happy that the Community Hall will be used for sharing our culture with children

during the Bala Datta classes. The

Bala Datta kids are being taught about the Hindu Dharma and more so

Human Dharma, which will provide moral support to the little ones. This

was the key reason for building the Cultural Center. This center is for

children, parents, and the public in general to learn and practice our

cherished traditions, customs and values.

Guru Purnima is a very auspicious occasion and comes on July 7th this year.

Guru

Purnima celebrates Guru Parampara and Tattvam (Guru lineage and

philosophy). This started when Sri Maha Vishnu came as Vyasa Maharishi

and brought forth the Vedas and Upanishads.

These Vedas

and Upanishads contain tenets about the human nature, behavior of

humans and nature, and secrets for liberation. The Upanishads don't

just talk about one religion or one dharma. They are related to all

dharmas. For having introduced the holy Vedas and Upanishads to the

world, we honor Sri Vyasa Maharishi and celebrate Guru Purnima.

Guru Purnima is about remembering and offering prayers to one's Guru per their

traditions. This is the main significance of Guru Purnima. Guru Purnima is

being celebrated by people in US, Europe, India and Caribbean. The

Guru Purnima in Dallas is being celebrated and attended by devotees of

Lord Dattatreya, Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, and Lord Subramanya, Lord

Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Mother Goddess. So everyone is welcome and encouraged to

attend.

The next event is the Hanuman Raaga Sagara, the Music for Healing and Meditation

Concert. Lord Hanuman is well known for his Naada (music) and

sermonized

the connection between Bhakti and Naada to the humanity. If we look at

the Sundarakanda in the holy Ramayana, with just his own Nada bhakti,

Lord Hanuman searched and helped trace Mother Sita.

He

is also known as the ultimate achiever (harbinger of Karya Siddhi) and

helps others achieve their goals. Success in one's goals, studies,

business, health, spiritual upliftment, and strengthening Guru-Disciple

relationship can be obtained through Lord Hanuman's Mantra. A temple

for such a great Lord Hanuman is being constructed in Dallas for the

benefit of the devotees. In Lord Hanuman's name, Sri Swamiji will be

blessing everyone in Dallas with Hanuman Raaga Saagara Healing and

Meditation concert on July 4th.

Recently on his 100th country tour, Swamiji performed the healing concert in

Singapore. This

program was broadcast on live television to devotees in 150 countries. There

are many lakhs of people who are reaping the benefits of listening to these

wonderful Nada (healing) concerts daily. Everyone should take this opportunity

to attend this a wonderful Music Healing program on July 4th at Bass Hall in

Fort Worth. Sri Swamiji especially invites the Bala Datta kids and their

parents to attend this healing concert.

Overall there are three programs in the Dallas area:

* Community Hall /Cultural Center Inauguration at the Hanuman Temple - July 3rd

* Hanuman Raaga Saagara - Music for Healing and Meditation Concert - July 4th

* Guru Purnima & Hanuman Mahotsav Celebrations - July 3rd - 12th

There are all excellent programs in Dallas that no one should miss. Do make

every effort to attend.
