Guest guest
Dear All, Sri Swamiji's Chennai Concert, Nada Yoga Raga Sagara was a marvel.History has not seen such a concert and no other future concert can perhaps even equal this equal , leave alone surpassing it! The place, time, setting of the stage, disciple of the audience, the whole ambience was unique. People for a moment forgot that they were in a busy city like chennai as seemed it was it was out of the world! Sri Swamiji was simply more adorable than ever with His child like interest and enthusiasm about everything!!! More than 10,000 people were seated in pindrop silence, drowned in the divine music of Sri Swamiji as the cool sea breeze enveloped the audience. No bigwigs. No politics. No VVIPS . No protocol. No speeches. No flattery. No exaggeration. The entire focus was only on Sri Swamiji. It was just Swamiji and His healing Music! Sweet and Soothing Music! Curing Music! It was just for devotees of the Lord and believers. It was a unique and an exhilarating experience even to those who were very much used to concerts of Sri Swamiji. Most of the audience was rocked to sleep when the second raga was being played. Most of them didnot realize that Sri Swamiji walked amidst them and were surprised when told... they were sleeping Each raga had a different impact on the body. Though awareness of the body's existence remained, body was no longer obeying commands of the brain. We could not open our eyes though we felt like! The distinction between the body and the consciousness, which is generally smudged was apparent. One could sense the seperate identity and existence of both. It was like laser surgery, so to say, seperating both.Yet consciousness could sense existence of both at the sametime as seperate identities ! amazing experience! Pujya Swamiji played Pranava Svarupam in Rushyaketupriya Raga, Bhajan Vilasatu Deepti in Brindavana Saranga Raga, Bhajan Varugave Varugave - Tamil Bhajan in Malaya Maruta Raga, Andolaye Rajeshvarim in Hindola Raga, Pavana Pavani Palayam in Gamanashrama Raga, Happy tune in Shankarabharana Raga and Mangala in Sama Raga The Tanjore temple backdrop , tastefully and colourfully decorated, provided the required sanctity and serenity to the stage. It was indeed a scene from Siva loka!! We chennaities could not believe that we could really do all this! It is dream come true for us! We thank Sri Swamiji for bearing with all our lapses and encouraging us to do our best!!Jaya Guru Datta! Many regards Srilakshmi Prasaad
