Making the impossible, easy....

Let me share a little more with you.

Besides the concert , Chennai ashram celebrated Karyasiddhi Hanuman temple

Kumbhabhishekam on 25th Feb besides the annual keerthanothsvam( where

renowned carnatic music singers render Sri Swamiji's compositions in

different styles) from 24th to 26th.The task before us was unnerving as we

neither had funds nor manpower. We had *ONLY *Sri Swamiji's blessings.It had

been a long time since Chennai saw a grand function.Some times the very

magnitude of the task frightens people and makes them go underground. Many

were critical and said that it was not wise to take up so many things at the

same time.Most of the people didnot come forward enthusiastically.Various

doubts were raised... can we raise funds? Can we mobilize crowds? Can we

successfully complete the task?

The people who talked never worked. They all came after Sri Swamiji

arrived. There came a point of total desperation too but our *only *STRENGTH

was that Sri Swamiji had blessed us and said " *Donot worry...Chennai Concert

will the grandest of all. Every effort will be sucessful* " With Utter *faith

*in this statement we made ceaseless efforts and the rest is now history!

We learnt that if *HE wills, IT shall Happen*... *no matter how impossible

it may be!*

Credit must be given where it is due hence let me tell you about a wonderful

trustee here. Shri Jayaraman. A 71 yrs *young man*.

Shri S. Jayaraman has been the sole soul interested in making the impossible

possible.He repeatedly pestered Sri Swamiji for a date for the concert

inspite of knowing that *it would not be a cake walk.* He had worked

tirelessly to achieve this herculean task, did all the legwork all by

himself, drove long distances himself to meet donors, took praise,criticizm

and insults with equanimity, ate frugally, missed his sleep often, and more

than anything else carried the team composing various attitudes with him

sucessfully! No one else can match his devotion to the cause.He was

self-effacing to the extent that he gave everyone else the credit without

reservation even if they have done a miniscule of the work.*He never hung

around Sri Swamiji for publicity despite all the work he did silently*.

This one gentleman has made all the difference to Chennai ashram activities

in recent times..Chennai is very lucky to have the services of Shri

Jayaraman uncle.

Mrs and Mr jayaraman are devotees we all should emulate. May Sri Swamiji

shower His choicest blessings on them and their family.
