Plz Verify the Procedure

Namaste Narashimaye,

 

I started wearing the personalized mala which I bought from Rudraksh

Center. So, please suggest whether the below procedure is correct or

requires changes. Before going to bed everyday, I take out the mala

while chanting Om Namah Shivaya and put the same in the pouch that is

sent alongwith the mala.

 

Again Next Morning, after having the bath during my prayers I take out

the mala from the pouch and put the same in a plate and during the

prayer, I offer the dhoop and lamp also while chanting Om Namah

Shivaya. I hold the mala turing towards East and again chant Om Namah

Shivaya for 27 times and put the same.

 

Just before completing my daily prayer, I chant all the Beej mantras

for each bead for 9 times. Again at the end I chant 27 times Om Namah

Shivaya.

 

So, please suggest whether the above procedure is correct or not.

 

As well I have a puja ( Vastu and Gruha Shanti puja) at my home this

sunday, so can I put my personalized mala in the puja or should I wear it?
