Guest guest
Hi Richard, As I understand there are nine planets which influence a human being. As per the bith time for any individual will have these 9 planets in the 360 degree cycle. This 360 degree is divided into 12, each houses of 30 degrees; and as per the birth time the other planets are positioned in each houses. "Bala" and Results are predicted based on the positions of planets in each house. Hence each individual will have his/her favaourable or unfavourable planets. So looking into one's birth chat should one go for a gem which is the most "favourable" for him? If that is the theory .. why we use navaratna ring? If one planet is already favourable to me then why should I use again a gem of that, rather than I go for a gem of an unfavourable planet so that I get the benefit of that also. If all planets are favourabe that is the best one can acheive. So now the discussion is only between anukul and pratikul which is favourable and unfavourable Then is not there a concept of strong and weak planets ?? I also read that some palnets being in certain houses ( in that specific 30 degrees) become strong or weak based on its inter relation with other planets and some by virtue of it position in some houses ( which may be its own house and also on the position with respect to sun lagna and position of moon) Your thoughts. Anukul means "favorable", either strong or weak, and Pratikul means "unfavorable" either strong or weak. According to the PGA guidelines a gem for a planet which is favorable may be used. If the favorable planet is weak that is all the more reason to make it stronger. Gems do NOT "reverse" anything.Best wishes,Richard
