They will help you with guidance and layout of the beads. Meanwhile the sequence for 1 to 12 mukhis is like this:

12 mukhi centre bead

1 mukhi centre bead

The above means there are 2 centre beads. For mukhis 1 to 14 the sequence is similar except you add 13 mukhi and 14 mukhi.
