Happy BABA's day to you all. May HIS grace shower up on one and all now and forever.

As devotees of BABA, we always search for HIM and think that HE resides only in one place - Shirdi. Our eyes long to see HIM in SHIRDI. Yet in our anxiety to see Him and reminisence HIS presence we always long to go to SHIRDI. Yes, Shirdi is fortunate to have borne HIS foot on its soil. Yes it is true, that in SHIRDI we are transported to the days when people laughed and played in the physical presence of BABA. Yes no doubt Shirdi is for us - the followers of BABA a holy Thirth, pilgrimage, where we all seek to take shelter under HIS loving grace.

We forget that Baba lives in our hearts, in our houses, in all living beings and nature we are surrounded with. All we have to do is to call HIM with love and HE will come running for us. HE does not have to live in Shirdi or travese across seven seas to come to us. He lives where we live. He lives in love, He lives where there is devotion, where there is love - Unconditional pure love and faith. Shirdi is where love is...

"Bhai Krishnaji was originally a devotee of Akkalkot Maharaj. He had come to Shirdi at the installation of the Padukas, in Shaka 1834 on his way to Akkalkot. He wanted to go to Akkalkot after taking the darshana of Baba. He asked Baba’s permission for this. Baba said - "Oh, what is there in Akkalkot? Why do you go there? The incumbent Maharaj of that place is here, Myself." Hearing this Bhai did not go to Akkalkot. He came to Shirdi off and on, after the installation of the Padukas. Mr. B.V. Dev concluded that Hemadpant did not know these details. Had be known them, he would not have failed to depict them in his Sat-charita. " - Chapter 5 Satcharita
