Sri Swamiji's Surprise Visit to DRC, April 2008 - Discourse

" In Trinidad Swamiji attended Hanuman conference, wonderful and knowledge

conference. Not only conference, it is a Bhakti Yoga conference, devotional

Conference. On Hanumanta, there were twelve lecturers, twelve scholars, they

presented their own papers, their own experience about Hanumanta. Hanumanta

is not a God, Hanumanta is like air, Vayu. There are so many angles, they

shared good knowledge about Hanumanta. The ten days were wonderful days,

very powerful days. I think, representatives from 40 Countries attended;

whole Caribbean countries representatives attended the conference. The last

day was a gigantic program of Swamiji healing music. All the 10 days Hanuman

lectures were going on live radios, three radios, whole country is chanting

" Jai Veera Hanuman Ki, Jai Veera Hanuman Ki Jai " . Even non-Hindus also were

following these slokas, because Hanumanta idol is very rare scenery, 85 feet

Hanumanta, very wonderful Hanumanta. Tourism department also recognized. If

any tourist people go, they first visit Hanuman temple, second, the

historical places, only two three places, and then they like Tobago. Tobago

is very nice place for tourism including our Hanumanta also. Tourism, they

are helping, government also helping. Next time, why not you go there for

your holidays. So many people are coming to India, why not you make one trip

to Trinidad. Next time Nada conference will go for seven days. Nada

conference means so many musicians will come, the South Indian musicians,

the North Indian musicians.

 

I wanted to come to Dallas, I wanted to see the land. One more miracles is

going in Dallas. Dallas, you know the environment. There is no snow, there

is no cold, like South India. We have ten acres. Already the government gave

permission to build up temple, South Indian Style, big temple -- Karya

Siddhi Hanumanta. Swamiji planned Emerald Hanumanta, wonderful, historical

Hanumanta Swamiji is planning. So, it is our duty to help the Center, our

Duty to build the temple; that is Swamiji's sankalpam. So anyway, today, we

are very lucky devotees. Swamiji suddenly determined to come to Jesus DRC.

Last time also very short visit, only one day, after Guru poornima in

Canada. Because Swamiji's tour, world tour is so long so busy, day by day.

That is why this time also we cut short programs. Three months programs in

USA are cut short to only three weeks. The main program is Guru Poornima

program, and the concert program in Lincoln Center. You must attend the Guru

Poornima. This year Guru Poornima is very powerful one. Because this year is

not good; some planets are changing, some environment is changing, some

calamities, some hidden secrets. Doesn't matter, don't afraid about that.

That is not your duty, that is my headache, God's headache, Datta's

headache, Jesus headache, Mother Goddess headache, lord Siva, Vishnu's

headache, not human beings. Only you must pray, pay respect, in day to day

life, with satisfaction, with purity. Go to your work like a kartavya

(duty). Your duties you must fulfill yourself. Don't worry about this

calamity, don't worry about the politics. You worry about yourself only. How

to keep devotion, how to keep health, how to greet each other, how to have

good understanding for devotees, for Datta family, how to maintain

relationship, how to behave, you must learn about this. You must study

Swamiji's teachings often, and more and more. Listen to Swamiji Bhajans,

think about Swamiji, chant with Satisfaction. So many people, always

disappointing, always in depression. That is not good. Close your eyes in

front of Swamiji photograph, then definitely He will speak and He will look

at you. Don't worry about your duties, your health. Datta's grace, Datta's

leela. Everything is like a test.

 

Today is Swamiji's bonus Darshan for you. Last month, there was wonderful

music in Australia. I think you have seen in the internet. No?? So many

people don't want to see. They only see cinemas. Please, if you have

internet, you must see Dattapeetham web site. Otherwise, go to friends'

places and see. Internet is easy and cheap. I don't want to tell again and

again. You are missing so many occasions, because you are not all the time

following Swamiji (you can't). You check with the site. You go page by page,

you will feel like you are traveling with Swamiji. That connection is a very

strong connection with Swamiji. You look only Swamiji in the internet and

you off it, that's it! No problems. Very useful for your life. Very

unnecessary expenses going on in life all the time. This is a very useful

energy expense. Also, very good Swamiji programs in Gemini TV. I am very

happy about Gemini TV, Maa TV, Sanskar TV, Astha TV. Swamiji explains about

Mahabharatham, Mahabhaagavatham in Hindi. Wonderful sentences and very good.

You should all have Gemini TV.all Telugu people. At least, some people can

have, record the programs and show them in the Satsangs to everyone. Keep

touch with Swamiji; everything will go on fine. Not just one day, or two

days running to DRC for Darshan, or Baton Rouge Darshan, or someplace for

Darshan, .and if anything danger happens, only then you telephone,

email..that is not good. That is not staying in touch. What Swamiji says,

you have to listen. That is staying in touch. This is one-way traffic. Only

your problems messages come to me; my words are not going to you. You don't

like them, you don't have time. You tell your problems coming in a queue,

but you don't want to think what Swamiji is giving for your energy,

food..because you have NO TIME. You don't have time. You have time for your

problems, for your fates and for your crying only. You don't want the good,

the energy coming from Swamiji. Why? Because, you say you don't have time.

It is not good. These days, I am also thinking of doing the same. I am also

planning to tell, from now on, that I also don't have time to listen to your

problems. Then you will know. Then you will understand. If Swamiji says

reverse like this, then what happens to your problems? You are demanding,

'Swamiji, please listen to our problems', but you don't listen to Swamiji's

advice. You don't want. NO TIME. You don't know what CD came, what new CD

came, what new book came. You don't know. What Swamiji's Bhakti Mala message

is, what Swamiji said last week in Trinidad, last week in Australia, what

new message came,. we don't want. We have no time. You have time for your

problems, sorrows, confusions. EMAIL! You are always sending email, two

emails, three emails, 'oh, my life is like this, my child is like this, my

hospital, my job is lost, my, my, my.'. One way traffic.

 

Keep on studying Swamiji's messages, keep on listening to Swamiji's bhajans,

keep on thinking about Swamiji's vision, energy, friendship, feeling,

touching. Close your eyes and then fell what Swamiji had done in your life.

What is the connection with Swamiji, what is the energy, the use,...think

daily at least for 5, 10 minutes. Go to internet and enquire what is the new

CD, what is the new message, what are the programs currently. You can think

like this daily. Then, the link will develop, energy flow will develop.

Then, Swamiji will automatically give blessings and energy. If you have any

problems, then only you are saying, 'Swamiji, Swamiji, Swamiji, telephone,

telephone, go, go go.'. Then you are looking into internet and start typing,

tak, tak tak, tak..., 'Swamiji, this is very serious, now admitting to the

hospital..my job is lost..my insurance is lost..my car is lost..'. This is

not good. Prasad, Subbu are giving your email information to me all the

time. Latest news is, now they also download your email to my iPhone. I show

you now. I have all of it completely. Now and then, I check. All problems

only. Nobody says, 'Swamiji! Your concert is good, you appeared in my

dreams, your sayings are good..'. NO email like this, not even one. But you

know, Europeans do that. They are always giving their experiences. They

don't tell their difficulties at all. They keep sending emails saying,

'wonderful concert, wonderful songs, wonderful dream,..'. Our problems are

like, 'my wife is fighting with me, my wife is suspecting me, my husband is

suspecting me, and so on..'. This is what you send in your email. You don't

need to send email for that; just think in your mind and that itself is

email to me. All doubts, kaama-krodhas (desires and anger), unsatisfactory

life, no happiness. You don't want happiness. Always sad, always complaint.

Even if you don't open your mouth and say it out, but just think (complain)

in your mind, it is still the same. Even that should not be there. Because

Swamiji is staying in your mind. Swamiji is living with you; he is a part.

Don't think rubbish. You think always good. Don't think always

disappointments statements. Clean yourself. Clean your heart. Clean your

mind. Then, Swamiji is very happy. Unnecessarily don't cry. LEAVE those

thoughts. Chronic thinking is not good, is not healthy. On anything, don't

think too much. We will automatically live long too. Health also will be

good. Always dissatisfaction, killing feelings..that is not good.

 

You get married and came here, you have kids also and even now you

fight..like buffalos. That is not good; fighting like donkeys. That is why

some devotees say they don't want marriage. I am also recommending the same

to them. I feel they are REALLY my devotees. No taapathryas! I won't force

them to get married. I used to force them to get married; now I don't. I am

just staying calm and I am saying, 'Thanks!'. What's there? After 40 years

the kaama (desire) dies off. Let it go, that's it, what's there. Pour some

cold water over head with some cucumbers..all will go. I don't want to say

any more. You can stay happy, giving all the earnings to Swamiji's mission.

How wonderful, you see. (the devotees all clapped; Swamiji also laughed and

continued.). All the devotees who are not married are clapping with

happiness, and all the devotees who are married are clapping with

disappointment, 'what can I do, what can I do.'.

 

Anyway, now, we don't have much time. We have a new CD, Navagraha Stuthi. We

will play that now. This year a big yagna is going on in Mysore. All the

places, Navagraha stuthi (chanting) is going on. Keep on chanting Navagraha

mantra and keep sending counts to Mysore. Also, join Guru Purnima to help

Guru Purnima in any way, in your own capacity. Plan your leave from now on

and spend 3, 4 days with Swamiji. Very wonderful Guru Purnima in Royal

Albert's Palace in New Jersey. Very nice and also very good concert in

Lincoln Center. Also, you must help Dallas. This is my sankalpa to build a

temple in America. Till now, I didn't get that sankalpa, I don't know why.

If I did, we would have 10 temples. I just did not do that sankalpa till

now. All our Datta devotees will be happy with this temple. Even when we

come here (DRC), some people have a feeling that it is not a temple. Now, we

will have such temple also. All of you should do maximum help. Five people

have taken major responsibility, and working they are working like Pancha

Mukhas. All devotees are one family and we have to save them. They are

facing all the difficulties. Whatever help you can do, it will reduce their

loan debt. They are very ordinary devotees. Wife, husband,

children.everybody working. Are there such devotees? Swamiji is showing such

devotees to you. They put their homes as collateral and are going ahead even

when I said no. They say, they want to do it because, 'it is our Swamiji's

sankalpa and we want to do this. We get loss in so many places, businesses,

we get cheated in so many ways, etc, etc...why not we do this for our

Swamiji', like this they thought and are doing the project. You all have to

join and help them. Just as you are protecting this center, you have to

protect that also. Now, one guru puja, Navagraha stuthi and one by one come

in a line to give respects and take prasadam. "
