Narke’s (GGN) mother to Baba (in 1913): My son

is being tossed to all sorts of places and he is without a permanent job.

Settle him at Poona.

Three years

later, an offer of service in Benares School or

College came.

GGN: Baba, shall

I apply for this?

Baba: What have

we to do with Benares? We

have to go to Poona and

Satara.

In 1917 a

vacancy in the Engineering College, Poona, was

advertised.

GGN: Shall I

apply for this, Baba?

Baba: Yes.

Later, Baba:

Where is Narke gone?

Devotees: He has

gone to Poona to

try for the appointment.

Baba: Allah will

bless. Has he any children?

Devotees: Three

or four were born, but they all died after a short life.

Baba: Allah will

bless.

GGN got the

appoint ment in 1918 and the children he had after

1913 are all lived longer.
