Guest guest
Namaste Chandran, your wife may be going through a period of having sensitive skin as she didn't have problems with rashes until recently. Its best to wash her rudraksha beads with very gentle soapy water like Johnson's Baby Bath. Then its important to let the beads dry thoroughly before oiling them. In her case, do not use fragrant oil or synthetic oil at all. Also, do not use ordinary cooking oil like sesame or mustard. Please try to find cold-pressed almond oil from a health food store or from an aromatherapy store. Its a type of carrier oil they use for mixing with essential oils for massage. But do not mix the cold- pressed oil with any fragrant or essential oil. Just use it as it is for oiling the rudraksha beads. This prevents rashes.
