Guest guest
Dear Narasimhaye ji, Namaskar I've some questions too. The first one is on similar lines asked by Jatin so including the questions in this email chain (1) These modern days because of the hectic lives people (including me) chant mantras while driving a vehicle, while traveling in a train/plane etc. Though the culture/religion says to perform these in a certain way (like in a puja room with incense sticks, etc) but we try to take short cuts. Could the short cut ways of chanting mantras aggravate some particular deities? Is this form of mantra chanting acceptable by the liberal Hindus? (2) Few days back I silently chanted 3 malas of Kali mata mantra (again short cut way). After I finished the mantras in my subconscious state I saw a flame and too many small flames coming out of that flame and each of them had Kali mata's image in it. Is their a special significance or meaning to this? (3) As you know we got the guru-kantha mala for Sri Shirdi Sai Baba. We plan on garlanding him on MahaShivratri - When garlanding the mala does the sumeru bead has to be behind the neck (up) or towards the stomach (down) OR does it even matter? Looking forward for your advice Jai Sai Ram -Dharmendra
