What was not widely reported nor seen but by a couple of devotees was a bright white light to the North of Hanuman for a brief moment. For those who have read Sri Swamiji's book, " The Life and Mission of Hanuman " you will know that Suvarchalamba Devi, the daughter of Surya was Lord Hanuman's wife. This video posted on YouTube is what I believe the only record of this wondrous occurrence in Trinidad. Enjoy! Happy Birthday to our Beloved Sadguru! With this understanding, there cannot be a correlation of His appearance in the North. Directionally coherent, the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Murthi faces East. I couldn't imagine the blessings that would come from it. As I first saw the rainbow, Appaji was returning to Guru Nilayam from His Pradakshina and motioned to me " get that! " What a blessing it was just to receive that command from Him! Little did I know it would be " The Shot. " Then as I panned North, immediately when I saw the white light, Swamij's bhajan, " Suvarcalamba " spontaneously began in my heart. I had just spent the previous one plus hours in prayer at the feet of 85 feet Karya Siddhi Hanuman in the darshan of His physical form, Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji. No doubt, I took a leap in faith; but in Swamiji's Leela just how big of leap was it? To some it may just be an unexplainable reflection in the sky. To me it was Mother. Who else but our most Beautiful and Loving Sadguru brings the celestial realm to us mere mortals?! During these turbulent times, 9th annual Brahmotsavam of Sri Datta Venkateshwara Temple and Sri Swamiji's 66th Birthday celebrations continue in Mysore bringing peace to Creation. May we never forget that our most compassionate, Dear Appaji, unaffected by Karma, facilitates the burning of the biggest of Karmas of each and every person He draws into His Divine presence. The configuration of the picture (video) indicates the photographer was facing west, and you can see the face of the 85 feet tall Hanuman. The video was taken in the morning or around noon. Then the sun would be behind the photographer or over his head. The bright light is on the right side of the statue, as shown in the video footage, which indicates the bright light was in the northern direction. If the videographer was recording the rainbow facing east in the morning or around noon, then we would have seen the back side of 85 feet Hanuman, and at that angle you will definitely view the bright sun’s glare on the footage and the bright light would be on the left side of the picture footage.
