WE WILL PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, BUT THE NAMES WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE LIST OF DEVOTEES WHO JOINED US FOR RECITATION OF SRI SAI AMRIT VANI, as you have not mentioned that you or any one will also recite Sri Sai Amrit Vani on Thursday(any time). In the list of devotees ‘Who participated in the recitation of Sri Sai Amrit Vani’ we include only those devotees who themselves also recite or read or listen to Sri Sai Amrit Vani at their place. Is it not seed that grows into a plant then, a tree and gives many fruits & every such fruit bears seeds now though that one and only one seed was the beginning of its growth happenning ! Guest guest Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 Prayer. Om Sai Ram. We do not know God in physical form and we do not learn anything about prayer. But we believe in both. Actually there are three aspects of this, not two. These are - God, human being who needs to pray and the prayer. In other words - God or the Spirit, man or the Soul connected with each other through Prayer. I feel prayer is completion of Faith because Faith is like a state that can not be proved without an Act. What is that Act? That Act is Prayer because that is the only act in which one truly regards the Being of God as the Supreme and Being of him/herself as one who is under Him. Doing so one may appear to be begging but in Spiritual sense it is not begging but dependence on the One who only can provide. That is the only dependable dependence. Even otherwise we depend on Him only, then why not always be conscious of this dependence and feel assured? And prayer does not mean asking of something always. Thinking, feeling and silent communication with God and so on everything is prayer because we in any and every way are only seeking to feel His Joy and Protection. Of course, at times we pray for specific things. But asking for something or not, the continuous communication with Him is the Prayer. May Sai correct me if I am wrong.
